I forgive you.

Imagine if your son, daughter or family member found themselves in similar circumstances.  An entirely avoidable situation that since became a struggle for life.

Imagine you are that 25-year-old kid, responsible for all those other kids.  Sitting in the dark, kicking yourself.  Wondering what to do, how to keep them focused,  safe and alive.

Then, when help finally comes, one of those volunteers pays the ultimate price to save all from youthful indiscretion.

How in the world do you make things right again?

As you can see, that process is well under way.

A power much larger than all of us not only kept watch over that cave. But maintains a vigil over all of us too.

He sent comforting words, to remind us of that fact. This time,  through that one parent in the form of a note to their son’s  coach.

Stop kicking yourself.

Things will work out.

I forgive you.

  1. My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find nearly all of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content in your case? I wouldn’t mind publishing a post or elaborating on a number of the subjects you write regarding here. Again, awesome site!
